भारतीय जनता पार्टी ने लोकसभा चुनाव के लिए अपने उम्मीदवारों की तीसरी सूची जारी कर दी है। इस सूची में ९७ उम्मीदवारों के नाम शामिल हैं। पार्टी की केन्द्रीय समिति की कल रात नई दिल्ली में हुई बैठक में यह फैसला किया गया। पार्टी की वरिष्ठ नेता सुषमा स्वराज मध्य प्रदेश में विदिशा संसदीय क्षेत्र से चुनाव लड़ेंगी। राष्ट्रीय जनता दल को छोड़कर हाल ही में भाजपा में शामिल हुए राम कृपाल यादव बिहार में पाटलीपुत्र से लालू प्रसाद की पुत्री मीसा भारती के खिलाफ चुनाव लड़ेंगे। मौजूदा सांसद कीर्ति आजाद दरभंगा से जबकि राजीव प्रताप रूढ़ी सारण से उम्मीदवार होंगे। शाहनवाज हुसैन को भागलपुर से उम्मीदवार बनाया गया है। राम टहल चौधरी रांची से चुनाव लड़ेंगे जबकि पूर्व केन्द्रीय मंत्री यशवंत सिन्हा के पुत्र जयंत सिन्हा हजारीबाग से चुनाव लड़ेंगे। सुमित्रा महाजन को मध्य प्रदेश में इंदौर से उम्मीदवार बनाया गया है। एस. एस. अहलुवालिया पश्चिम बंगाल में दार्जिलिंग संसदीय सीट पर भाजपा के उम्मीदवार होंगे।

कांग्रेस केन्द्रीय चुनाव समिति की कल नई दिल्ली में हुई बैठक के बाद इकहत्तर सीटों के लिए उम्मीदवारों की दूसरी सूची जारी की गई है।
लोकसभा चुनावों के लिए इस सूची में शामिल प्रमुख नेताओं में केन्द्रीय मंत्री वीरप्पा मोइली, के. वी. थॉमस, शशि थरूर, वी. नारायण सामी तथा पूर्व मंत्री पवन कुमार बंसल और सुबोध कान्त सहाय हैं।
वीरप्पा मोइली कर्नाटक में चिकबल्लापुर से चुनाव लड़ेंगे, पवन कुमार बंसल चंडीगढ़ से और सुबोध कान्त सहाय रांची से लोकसभा चुनाव लड़ेंगे।
कांग्रेस सांसद पी. सी. चाको चलाकुडी सीट से, राज बब्बर गाजियाबाद से और अभिनेत्री नगमा मेरठ लोकसभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से पार्टी के उम्मीदवार होंगे।
उत्तर प्रदेश कांग्रेस की पूर्व अध्यक्ष रीता बहुगुणा जोशी  लखनऊ से चुनाव लड़ेगी।
इस सूची में कर्नाटक के लिए दस, केरल के लिए पन्द्रह, उत्तर प्रदेश के लिए तेरह और महाराष्ट्र के लिए सात उम्मीदवार शामिल हैं।

असम में लोकसभा चुनाव के पहले चरण की अधिसूचना आज जारी की जाएगी। पहले चरण में अगले महीने की सात तारीख को पाँच सीटों पर मतदान होगा। ये हैं-तेजपुर, कलियाबोर, जोरहाट, डिब्रूगढ़ और लखीमपुर।
निर्वाचन आयोग ने चुनाव से जुड़ी कोई भी शिकायत दर्ज कराने के लिए निशुल्क फोन नम्बर १ ९ ५ ० शुरू किया है। दूसरी ओर आयकर विभाग ऐसी नकदी और अन्य संदिग्ध वस्तुओं के लाने ले जाने पर नजर रख रहा है जिसका इस्तेमाल मतदाताओं को लुभाने के लिए किया जा सकता है। आयकर महानिदेशालय ने निशुल्क नम्बर  १ ८ ० ० ३ ४ ५ ३ ६ १ ९ के साथ शिकायत निगरानी और नियंत्रण कक्ष बनाया है, जो २४ घंटे खुला रहेगा।

त्रिपुरा के पहले चरण के चुनाव के तहत त्रिपुरा-पश्चिम लोकसभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के लिए अधिसूचना आज जारी होगी। उम्मीदवार २० मार्च तक अपना नामांकन दाखिल कर सकते हैं। जबकि २१ मार्च को नामांकन की जांच होगी और २४ मार्च तक नाम वापस लिये जा सकते हैं। १२ लाख ४६ हजार से अधिक मतदाता अगले महीने की सात तारीख को अपने मताधिकार का इस्तेमाल करेंगे।
बिहार में लोकसभा चुनाव के पहले चरण की अधिसूचना कल जारी कर दी गई। पहले चरण में अगले महीने की दस तारीख को छह सीटों पर मतदान होगा। इनमें सासाराम, काराकाट, औरंगाबाद, गया, नवादा और जमुई शामिल हैं।

दक्षिण बिहार के नक्सलवाद से प्रभावित ६ लोकसभा क्षेत्रों में मतदाताओं को मताधिकार के लिए दो घंटे कम समय मिल पाएगा। बिहार के अपर मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी आर. लक्ष्मणन ने पटना में पत्रकारों को बताया कि पहले चरण में १० अप्रैल के चुनाव में इन क्षेत्रों में मतदान  सुबह ७ बजे शुरू होगा लेकिन शाम ६ बजे की बजाए ४ बजे ही खत्म हो जाएगा।

निर्वाचन आयोग ने आंध्रप्रदेश को चुनाव खर्च की दृष्टि से संवेदनशील करार देते हुए प्रशासन से चुनाव खर्च पर नजर रखने के लिए विशेष उपाय करने को कहा है। निर्वाचन उपायुक्त विनोद जुत्शी ने कल हैदराबाद में जिला अधिकारियों और पुलिस अधीक्षकों के साथ बैठक कर चुनाव तैयारियों की समीक्षा की। संवाददाताओं से बातचीत में श्री जुत्शी ने कहा कि प्रशासन ने पिछले एक सप्ताह में १६ करोड़ रूपये की रकम जब्त की है।

दिल्ली चुनाव कार्यालय होली के त्यौहार के पहले राजनीतिक पार्टियों द्वारा आदर्श चुनाव आचार संहिता के उल्लंघन की गतिविधियों पर निगाह रखेगा। मुख्य नोडल अधिकारी अंकुर गर्ग ने कहा कि राजनीतिक पार्टियां किसी त्यौहार या धार्मिक उत्सव को अपने राजनीतिक हित या चुनाव प्रचार के लिए इस्तेमाल नहीं कर सकतीं। इस बीच सार्वजनिक सम्पत्तियों को कुरूप बनाने के खिलाफ कार्रवाई करते हुए निर्वाचन कार्यालय ने अबतक सार्वजनिक भवनों से ५ सौ २७ होर्डिंग्स हटाये हैं और ६२ एफ आई आर दर्ज की हैं।
सीरिया में संसद ने एक नया चुनाव कानून सर्वसम्मति से पारित कर दिया है जिसके तहत कई उम्मीदवारों को राष्ट्रपति पद का चुनाव लडने की अनुमति दी गयी है। ंइस कदम से राष्ट्रपति बशर अल असद के अलावा कई अन्य उम्मीदवारों के लिए राष्ट्रपति पद का चुनाव लड़ने के दरवाजे खुल गए हैं।

श्रीलंका में, मन्नार की एक अदालत ने  २४ भारतीय मछुआरों को रिहा करने का आदेश दिया है। इन मछुआरों को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय समुद्री सीमा पार करने की वजह से श्रीलंकाई नौसेना ने गिरफ्तार किया था। और ब्यौरे के साथ हमारे संवाददाता-

दिल्ली उच्च न्यायालय ने दिल्ली में १६ दिसम्बर २०१२ को हुए २३ वर्षीय लड़की के साथ सामूहिक दुष्कर्म और उसकी हत्या के लिए चार दोषियों को दिए गए मृत्युदंड की पुष्टि कर दी है। न्यायमूर्ति रेवा खेत्रपाल और न्यायमूर्ति प्रतिभा रानी की पीठ ने अक्षय ठाकुर, विनय शर्मा, पवन गुप्ता और मुकेश के मृत्युदंड की सजा को बरकरार रखा है।

The Bhartiya Janta Party, BJP has released the third list of its candidates for the forthcoming Lok Sabha Polls. The list includes 97 names. The decision was taken at the party's Central Committee meeting held in New Delhi last night. Senior party leader Sushma Swaraj will contest from the Vidisha Parliamentary Constituency in Madhya Pradesh. Ram Kripal Yadav, who recently joined the BJP after quitting the RJD, will contest from Patliputra against Lalu Prasad's daughter Misa Bharti. The late Pramod Mahajan's daughter Poonam Mahajan and former Home Secretary R K Singh also figure in the list. The sitting MP, Kirti Jha Azad will contest from Darbhanga, while Rajiv Pratap Rudy will fight from Saran constituency in Bihar. Shahnawaz Hussain will be contesting from Bhagalpur. Ramtahal Chaudhary is the candidate from Ranchi while Jayant Sinha, son of former Union Minister Yashwant Sinha will contest from Hazaribagh. Sumitra Mahajan will fight the election from Indore in Madhya Pradesh. S.S. Ahluwalia will be the BJP candidate from Darjeeling in West Bengal.

The Congress also announced the 2nd list of candidates for 71 seats after the central election committee meeting in New Delhi yesterday. Union Ministers Veerappa Moily, K V Thomas, Shashi Tharoor, V Narayanasamy and former ministers Pawan Kumar Bansal and Subodh Kant Sahai are prominent leaders figuring in the second list of the Congress. Moily will fight from the Chikkballapur seat in Karnataka, Thomas from Ernakulam, Tharoor from Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala and Narayansamy will be the party candidate in Puducherry. On the other hand, Bansal will try his electoral fate from Chandigarh and Sahai from Ranchi. Congress MP, P C Chacko will fight from the Chalakudy seat; Raj Babbar who is currently representing the Firozabad seat will contest  from Ghaziabad while actress turned politician Nagma will be the party candidate from the Meerut Lok Sabha constituency. Former Uttar Pradesh Congress Chief Rita Bahuguna Joshi will fight from Lucknow. The list includes 10 candidates for Karnataka, 15 for Kerala, 13 for Uttar Pradesh and 7 for Maharashtra.

In Assam and Tripura notification for the first phase of the Lok Sabha polls will be issued today. Polling for five seats in Assam will be held on the 7th of next month in the first phase, which will cover Tezpur, Kaliabor, Jorhat, Dibrugarh and Lakhimpur.

The Election Commission has set up a toll free phone number 1950 to lodge any poll related complaint. On the other hand, the Income Tax Department is also keeping an eye on the movement of cash and other items suspected to be used for bribing voters.

In Tripura, candidates can file their nominations till the 20th of March while scrutiny of nomination forms will be held on the 21st of March. Candidates can withdraw their nominations upto 24th March.

In Bihar, notification for the first phase of Lok Sabha Election was issued yesterday. Polling for six seats will be held on the 10th of next month in the first phase. It will cover Sasaram, Karakat, Aurangabad, Gaya, Nawada and Jamui. With the issuance of the notification, filing of nomination for these constituencies has also begun. Candidates can file their nominations till the 20th of March while the scrutiny of nomination forms will be held on the 21st of March. Candidates can withdraw their nominations upto 24th March.  Meanwhile, voters in six Lok Sabha constituencies of south Bihar affected by Naxalism will get two hours less to exercise their franchise. Bihar Additional Chief Electoral Officer R Lakshmanan told reporters in Patna that  polling in these areas will start at 7 am, but will end at 4 pm instead of 6 pm.

The Chief Electoral Office in Delhi will keep a tab on activities by political parties ahead of the festive season, for any violations of the Model Code of Conduct. Chief Nodal Officer, Ankur Garg said, no political parties can use a festival or a religious occasion to further their political interest or as a means of campaign. Meanwhile, a total of 70 FIRs have been lodged against various political parties and other so far in connection with the violation of the Model Code of Conduct in Delhi. According to the Chief Electoral Officer, Delhi, these include 10 FIRs each against Congress and BJP and 7 against the Aam Aadmi Party. Official sources also said that so far 527 hoardings and stick bills have been removed from the public property and 62 cases for defacement of property were registered.

The Election Commission has asked the authorities in Andhra Pradesh to initiate special measures to keep a check on election expenditure terming it an Expenditure Sensitive state. Deputy Election Commissioner Vinod Zutshi yesterday reviewed the poll preparedness with District collectors and SPs in Hyderabad. Speaking to reporters later, Mr Zutshi said, the authorities have seized 16 crore rupees of unaccounted cash in the past one week and an expenditure observer will be appointed for each parliamentary constituency.

Mishra, has arrived in Nagaland for reviewing measures for preventing illegal distribution of liquor during the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections. In Syria, the parliament has unanimously approved a new election law which allows multiple candidates to run for President. The move has opened the door to other potential contenders besides President Bashar Assad. The opposition Syrian National Coalition has rejected the move and held the election law adopted by parliament as illegitimate.

The Presidential election law in Syria is significant since the seven year term of President Assad comes to an end on 17th of July. Syrian officials have said that the Presidential elections will be held  between 60 to 90 days before the expiry of the term.  President Assad has suggested he would run again, though he has not confirmed whether he will seek re-election. Under the new law, only Syrian nationals and those who lived in Syria for 10 consecutive years can run for President. The new law is based on the new constitution which was passed in a  referendum in March 2012 in Syria which allowed for a multiparty political system in Syria and multiple Presidential candidates. The massive international search for the missing Malaysian Airliner MH370 is likely to widen into the Indian Ocean with the US deploying a ship to the Andaman Sea to locate the airliner. The move came after the US' defence and aviation experts noted that there was a significant probability of the plane to be at the bottom of the Indian Ocean. India along with US Navy's P-3C Orion maritime surveillance aircraft with long-range radar and communication capabilities will search in the Andaman Sea west of the Malacca Strait.

A Sri Lankan court in Mannar has ordered the release of 24 Tamil Nadu fishermen arrested by the Sri Lanka Navy for crossing the International Maritime Boundary Line. Earlier on Wednesday, 116 fishermen were released by a Jaffna court. Our correspondent reports that the case of 32 fishermen is likely to be taken up by Kytes Island court today.           

The process of release of Indian fishermen from Sri Lanka continues. Of the 177 fishermen caught since the last round of talks in Chennai in January, order of release for 140 have been issued by courts in various parts of the country. Cases of 32 more are likely to be taken up today. The matter of remaining 5 may take a little longer as there are some additional charges slapped against them. The release comes ahead of the crucial second round of talks between the fishermen, who are trying to come to an understanding over how to share the scarce fishing resources in an ecologically fragile region. Options like joint ventures into fishing and deep sea fishing will be looked into by the two sides when they meet again on the 25th in Colombo.

Following the Supreme Court order, the Himachal Pradesh High Court has asked 137 judicial officers, serving in various capacities in the state, not to use red or blue beacon atop their vehicles. In compliance with the Supreme Court order, the Transport department of Himachal Pradesh had issued a notification on March 5th about the use of red/blue or multi-coloured flashing lights on the top of vehicles.

Indian archers have bagged two gold and a silver in the team events of the ongoing 1st Asian Grand Prix Archery Championships, at Bangkok. In the Compound Women's team event, the trio of Gagandeep Kaur, V Jyothi Surekha and P Lily Chanu defeated Iran, 219 to 204 to take the first gold.

फेसबुक पर छिड़ी है लड़ाई

रणभेरी बज चुकी है, लड़ाके भी तैयार हैं, जंग का आगाज़ हो चुका है, इस जंग में वही जीतेगा जिस पर जनता अपने विश्वास की मुहर लगाएगी।

बहुत ज्यादा वक्त नहीं रह गया जब ये पता चल जाएगा कि सरकार कौन बनाएगा- यूपीए या एनडीए? या फिर तीसरा मोर्चा मार लेगा बाजी?

सभी राजनीतिक दल और राजनेता अपने पक्ष में माहौल बनाने में जुटे हैं, प्रचार के लिए नए नए तरीके निकाले जा रहे हैं और जनता तक पहुंचने की कवायद की जा रही है।

एक अनोखी लड़ाई सोशल मीडिया पर भी छिड़ी है। बुधवार दोपहर तक बीजेपी के फेसबुक पेज पर 2,620,062 लाइक्स हैं, कांग्रेस के फेसबुक पेज पर 2,046,070 लाइक्स हैं और आम आदमी पार्टी के पेज पर 1,687,687 लाइक्स हैं।

साफ है कि फेसबुकिया रेस में बीजेपी फिलहाल सबसे आगे चल रही है।

नेताओं में कौन है आगे?

राजनीतिक दलों के बाद बात अगर राजनेताओं की हो तो एक बार फिर नरेंद्र मोदी बाजी मारते नज़र आ रहे हैं। बुधवार दोपहर तक मोदी के फेसबुक पेज पर 11,282,175 लाइक्स हैं।

कांग्रेस के युवराज राहुल गांधी इस रेस में काफी पीछे नज़र आ रहे हैं। उनके फेसबुक पेज पर मात्र तीन लाख 48 हजार लाइक्स हैं।

नरेंद्र मोदी के बाद फेसबुक पर अगर किसी नेता का जलवा है तो वो हैं अरविंद केजरीवाल। उनके पेज पर 4,650,176 लाइक्स हैं।

यूपी के सीएम और समाजवादी पार्टी के नेता अखिलेश यादव के फेसबुक पेज पर भी 443,385 लाइक्स हैं।

 

ट्विटर पर भी छिड़ी है जंग

फेसबुक पर तो जंग छिड़ी है है लेकिन इस सोशल लड़ाई में ट्विटर भी अहम हथियार है। हर पार्टी और नेता इस हथियार का भी इस्तेमाल करने में पीछे नहीं है।

बीजेपी के ट्विटर पर करीब 385K फॉलोअर्स हैं तो वहीं बीजेपी की ओर से पीएम पद उम्मीदवार नरेंद्र मोदी को 3.52 मिलियन लोग फॉलो करते हैं।

कांग्रेस यहां भी बीजेपी से मात खाती दिखाई दे रही है। कांग्रेस के ट्विटर पर करीब 137K फॉलअर्स हैं तो वहीं राहुल गांधी को करीब 68.6K लोग फॉलो करते हैं।

आम आदमी पार्टी को करीब 554K लोग फॉलो करते हैं तो वहीं अरविंद केजरीवाल के भी ट्विटर पर 1.48 मिलियन फॉलोअर्स हैं।

 

यूट्यूब पर भी बीजेपी आगे

फेसबुक और ट्विटर के अलावा एक और भी लड़ाई छिड़ी है वीडियो के मैदान में। यूट्यूब के माध्यम से लाइव दिखा कर लोगों को अपने पक्ष में करने की पूरी कोशिशें जारी हैं।

कांग्रेस के यूट्यूब चैनल पर 5,327 सबस्क्राइबर्स हैं और करीब 503 वीडियो। राहुल गांधी के तमाम भाषण भी यहां पर देखे जा सकते हैं साथ ही तमाम रैलियों को भी लाइव दिखाया जाता है।

भारतीय जनता पार्टी यहां भी बहुत ही आगे है। बीजेपी के यूट्यूब चैनल पर 45053 सबस्क्राइबर्स हैं और 5771 वीडियो। बीजेपी की तमाम रैलियों को भी यहां लाइव दिखाया जाता है।

आम आदमी पार्टी के यूट्यूब चैनल पर अभी मात्र 102 वीडियो हैं और 32,251 सबस्क्राइबर्स। अब AAP की रैलियों को भी लाइव दिखाया जाने लगा है।

छत्तीसगढ़ के बस्तर क्षेत्र में कल के माओवादी हमले की जांच राष्ट्रीय जांच एजेन्सी से कराई जायेगी। इसमें १६ सुरक्षाकर्मी शहीद हो गये थे। जगदलपुर में अर्द्धसैनिक बलों और राज्य पुलिस के शहीद हुए कर्मियों को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित करने के बाद केन्द्रीय गृहमंत्री सुशील कुमार शिन्दे ने इसकी जानकारी दी।

मैंने मुख्यमंत्री जी से चर्चा की है कि पहले की जो केस थी वो भी नेशनल इनवेस्टिगेशन एजेंसी को दे दी थी। इस पर सब पालिटिकल लोग मारे गए थे तो ये भी केस में उन्होंने बोला है, सहमति दे दी है कि नेशनल इनवेस्टिगेशन एजेंसी को ये भी केस दी जाए। इसमें ज्यादा दोनों की किस तरह वहां काम किया है, यह भी देखा जाएगा।
श्री शिन्दे ने बताया कि इन सुरक्षाकर्मियों का बलिदान व्यर्थ नहीं जायेगा और सुरक्षा बल इसका कड़ा जवाब देंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि माओवादी आगामी लोकसभा चुनावों में बाधा पहुंचाने के लिए आतंक फैला रहे हैं।

बस्तर एरिया में विधानसभा का इलेक्शन बहुत अच्छी तरह से हो गया। पहले नहीं होता था। वहीं ये टीम हैं, जिसे रोड ओपनिंग के लिए जा रही थी, उस पर ये हमला हो गया।
श्री शिन्दे ने कहा कि वहां विधानसभा चुनाव शान्तिपूर्वक सम्पन्न हुए थे और लोकसभा चुनाव भी शान्तिपूर्ण होंगे।

मध्य प्रदेश पुलिस ने छत्तीसगढ़ में सुरक्षा बलों पर कल हुए माओवादी हमले के बाद नक्सल प्रभावित बालाघाट और सिंगरौली जिलों में अलर्ट जारी कर दिया है। ये दोनों जिले छत्तीसगढ़ सीमा से लगे हैं। पुलिस महानिदेशक नन्दन दुबे ने सभी सीमावर्ती जिलों के पुलिस अधीक्षकों को एहतियाती उपाय करने के निर्देश दिए हैं।

पूर्ण निर्वाचन आयोग आज असम की राजधानी गुवाहाटी में लोकसभा चुनावों की तैयारियों की समीक्षा कर रहा है। मुख्य निर्वाचन आयुक्त वी० एस० सम्पत और निर्वाचन आयुक्त एच० एस० ब्रह्‌मा तथा नसीम अहमद जै+दी ने गुवाहाटी में राजनीतिक दलों के प्रतिनिधियों और वरिष्ठ सरकारी अधिकारियों के साथ बैठकें की हैं। पूर्ण निर्वाचन आयोग के सदस्य सभी उपायुक्तों और पुलिस अधीक्षकों तथा अन्य उच्च अधिकारियों से भी अलग-अलग मिलेंगे। इनमें सुरक्षा बलों की तैनाती, पड़ोसी राज्यों से तालमेल और मतदाता जागरूकता जैसे मुद्दों पर चर्चा होगी। असम की १४ लोकसभा सीटों के लिए तीन चरणों में मतदान होना है। पहले चरण का मतदान ७ अप्रैल को होगा।

उच्चतम न्यायालय ने विधि आयोग से कहा है कि वह राजनीतिक नेताओं और सामाजिक तथा धार्मिक संगठनों के नेताओं के घृणा फैलाने वाले भाषणों के मुद्दे को देखे और ऐसे भड़काऊ वक्तव्यों पर अंकुश लगाने के लिए दिशा-निर्देश तैयार करने पर भी विचार करे। न्यायमूर्ति बी० एस० चव्हाण की अध्यक्षता वाली पीठ ने स्वयं ये दिशा-निर्देश तैयार करने से इंकार करते हुए विधि आयोग से यह कार्य करने और अपनी सिफारिशें केन्द्र को भेजने को कहा है। न्यायालय ने यह आदेश एक स्वैच्छिक संगठन की ओर से दायर जनहित याचिका पर दिया, जिसमें आरोप लगाया गया है कि ऐसे दिशा-निर्देश आवश्यक हैं क्योंकि घृणा फैलाने वाले भाषणों से लोकतंत्र के ढांचे को क्षति पहुंचती है और संविधान की व्यवस्थाओं का उल्लंघन होता है। याचिका में महाराष्ट्र नव-निर्माण सेना के प्रमुख राज ठाकरे के कथित घृणा फैलाने वाले भाषणों का उल्लेख किया गया और दावा किया गया कि उनके विरूद्ध राज्य में कोई एफ आई आर दर्ज नहीं की गई।
जनहित याचिका में यह भी कहा गया कि आन्ध्रप्रदेश में ऑल इंडिया मजलिसे इत्तेहादुल मुस्लिमीन के नेता अकबरूद्दीन ओवैसी ने कथित रूप से घृणा फैलाने वाले भाषण दिये थे, जिनके कारण उन्हें गिरफ्‌तार भी किया गया था। लेकिन बाद में जमानत पर छोड़े जाने के बाद उन्होंने महाराष्ट्र के नांदेड़ में भी वैसे ही भाषण दिये।

निर्वाचन आयोग ने लोकसभा और विधानसभा चुनाव में काले धन के इस्तेमाल पर रोक लगाने के लिए राजस्व और सुरक्षा खुफिया एजेंसियों का दल बनाया है। विभागों के खुफिया प्रभारी निर्वाचन आयोग के मुख्यालय में हफ्ते में दो बार मिलेंगे और संदिग्ध वित्तीय गतिविधियों के बारे में जानकारी हासिल करेंगे। इन बैठकों के बाद तैयार विस्तृत रिपोर्ट के बारे में विभिन्न राज्यों और केंद्रशासित प्रदेशों के संबंधित मुख्य निर्वाचन कार्यालयों को जानकारी दी जाएगी।

राष्ट्रीय जनता दल के पूर्व नेता राम कृपाल यादव आज भारतीय जनता पार्टी में शामिल हो गए। नई दिल्ली में आयोजित समारोह में पार्टी अध्यक्ष राजनाथ सिंह भी उपस्थित थे। श्री यादव ने बिहार के पाटलीपुत्र निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से टिकट न मिलने के बाद राष्ट्रीय जनता दल के सभी पदों से इस्तीफा दे दिया था।

तृणमूल कांग्रेस लोकसभा चुनावों में दिल्ली की सातों सीटों पर अपने उम्मीदवार खड़े करेगी। आकाशवाणी से बातचीत में तृणमूल कांग्रेस के नेता और राज्यसभा सांसद शुखेन्दु शेखर रॉय ने कहा कि पार्टी हरियाणा, बिहार, झारखण्ड, उत्तर प्रदेश, हिमाचल प्रदेश, त्रिपुरा, अरूणाचल प्रदेश और असम में भी लोकसभा चुनाव लड़ेगी। श्री राय ने कहा कि तृणमूल कांग्रेस कुछ दक्षिणी राज्यों में भी उम्मीदवार खड़े करेगी।

आम आदमी पार्टी प्रमुख अरविन्द केजरीवाल महाराष्ट्र के तीन दिन के दौरे पर आज मुम्बई पहुंचे। वे मुम्बई हवाई-अड्डे से ऑटोरिक्शा लेकर अंधेरी स्टेशन पहुंचे। बाद में वे अंधेरी स्टेशन से लोकल ट्रेन में सवार होकर दक्षिणी मुम्बई के चर्चगेट स्टेशन गए।
श्री केजरीवाल का निजी चंदा इकट्ठा करने की बैठक में भाग लेने और दक्षिणी मुम्बई और पूर्वोत्तर मुम्बई के निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों में रोड शो करने का कार्यक्रम है। आम आदमी पार्टी को दिल्ली विधानसभा चुनावों में सफलता के बाद महाराष्ट्र में भी अच्छा प्रदर्शन करने की उम्मीद है।

पंजाब में जिलाधिकारियों ने युवा मतदाताओं को आगामी लोकसभा चुनावों में वोट डालने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करने के कई उपाय शुरू किये हैं। जिला चुनाव अधिकारी एस वी ई ई पी यानी व्यवस्थित मतदाता शिक्षण और चुनाव प्रतिभागिता योजना की सफलता के सभी सम्भव उपाय कर रहे हैं। हमारे संवाददाता ने बताया है कि कॉलेज प्रधानाचार्यों से युवाओं को चुनाव प्रक्रिया में हिस्सा लेने के लिए शिक्षित करने को कहा गया है।
 
जालंधर और मोंगा जि+ले के चुनाव अधिकारियों ने पहली बार वोट डालने वाले युवा मतदाताओं को प्रशंसा पत्र देने का फैसला किया है। अमृतसर जि+ला निर्वाचन कार्यालय शहर के विभिन्न रेस्टूरेंट में ऐसे युवा मतदाताओं को ३० प्रतिशत तक छूट देगा। यह छूट अमृतसर होटल इंडस्ट्री ऐसोसिएशन के सहयोग से दी जाएगी। मतदाताओं को छूट हासिल करने के लिए केवल अपनी स्याही लगी उंगली दिखानी होगी। कुछ छात्रों को कालेजों में मतदान के प्रति छात्रों में जागरूकता फैलाने का काम सौंपा जाएगा। जांलधर जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी ने बताया कि चुनाव आयोग ऐसे छात्रों को दो हजार रूपये सालाना मानदेय देगा। जालंधर से राजेश बाली की रिपोर्ट के साथ समाचार कक्ष से मैं शंशाक कुमार।

सहारा इंडिया के प्रमुख सुब्रत रॉय ने बाजार नियामक-सेबी के पास २० हजार करोड़ रूपये जमा न कराने के कारण स्वयं को हिरासत में लिये जाने के उच्चतम न्यायालय के आदेश को चुनौती दी है। न्यायालय में दायर नई याचिका में सहारा प्रमुख ने अनुरोध किया है कि उनके मामले की सुनवाई तुरन्त की जा सकती है क्योंकि मामला बंदी प्रत्यक्षीकरण से जुड़ा है। बंदी प्रत्यक्षीकरण याचिका किसी कैदी या हिरासत में रखे व्यक्ति को न्यायालय के समक्ष पेश करने के लिए की जाती है ताकि तय किया जा सके कि उस व्यक्ति की गिरफ्‌तारी या हिरासत वैध है या नहीं।
सहारा प्रमुख और उनके दो निदेशकों रविशंकर दुबे और अशोक राय चौधरी को न्यायमूर्ति के० एस० राधाकृष्णन और न्यायमूर्ति जे० एस० खेहर की विशेष पीठ ने सेबी के पास २० हजार करोड़ रूपये जमा न कराने पर ४ मार्च को न्यायिक हिरासत में भेज दिया था। सात मार्च की पिछली सुनवाई में न्यायालय ने सहारा समूह से निवेशकों के २० हजार करोड़ रूपये की राशि जमा कराने के लिए सम्मानजनक प्रस्ताव लाने को कहा था और सुनवाई ११ मार्च को रखी थी लेकिन अगली तारीख तय किये बिना ही मामले की सुनवाई स्थगित कर दी गई।

नागरिक उड्डयन मंत्री अजित सिंह ने देश में उड्डयन क्षेत्र के विकास के लिए क्षेत्रीय सहयोग को बढ़ाने और सतत्‌ सुधारों की जरूरत पर बल दिया। आज इंडियन एविएशन के चौथे संस्करण का विमोचन करते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि क्षेत्रीय और सुदूरवर्ती क्षेत्रों को आपस में जोड़ने की जरूरत पर ध्यान देना आज भी जरूरी है। इस अवसर पर उन्होंने कहा कि भारतीय विमानपत्तन प्राधिकरण ने कम लागत वाले हवाई अड्डों के विकास के लिए पचास स्थानों की पहचान कर ली है। नागरिक उड्डयन मंत्री ने इन क्षेत्रों में आधारभूत ढांचे के विकास में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाने का आह्‌वान किया है। उन्होंने राज्यों से उड्डयन आधारभूत ढांचे में निवेश के लिए रचनात्मक तरीके अपनाने के लिए कहा। भारत सरकार ने फिक्की के साथ मिलकर पांच दिवसीय एविएशन शो का आयोजन किया है।

पुद्दुचेरी विधानसभा ने वित्त वर्ष २०१४-१५ के पहले छह महीनों की लेखानुदान मांगें ध्वनिमत से पारित कर दी हैं। चूंकि अभी योजना आयोग ने इस केन्द्रशासित प्रदेश की वार्षिक योजना का प्रावधान तय नहीं किया है, वित्त मंत्रालय का कामकाज संभाल रहे मुख्यमंत्री एन० रंगासामी ने दो हजार, पांच सौ पचास करोड़ रूपये की लेखानुदान मांगें सदन में रखी।

वियतनाम की फ्रन्टलाइन कमांड ने घोषणा की है कि उसने मलेशिया के लापता विमान की हवाई और समुद्री तलाश रोक दी है। कई देशों द्वारा चलाये जा रहे तलाशी अभियान की सम्भावित नई दिशा के बारे में उसे मलेशिया से और जानकारी का इंतजार है। मलेशिया ने तलाशी का दायरा अंडमान सागर तक बढ़ा दिया है, लेकिन उसने इस खबर का खंडन किया है कि २३९ यात्रियों को लेकर जा रहा यह विमान अपनी निर्धारित उड़ान के रास्ते से काफी दूर देखा था।

तमिलनाडु के मुख्य चुनाव अधिकारी प्रवीण कुमार ने बताया है कि निर्वाचन आयोग के उड़न दस्तों ने दो करोड़ रूपये की बे-हिसाबी नकदी, ६१ किलोग्राम चांदी की सामग्री, सात किलोग्राम सोना, ढाई हजार मिक्सी और ७३ रेशमी साड़ियां ज+ब्त की हैं। चेन्नई में संवाददाताओं से बातचीत में उन्होंने कहा कि स्व-सहायता समूहों और बैंकों से लेन-देन की रिपोर्ट रोजाना जिलाधीश को देने को कहा गया है।

कश्मीर घाटी में हो रही भारी बर्फबारी के चलते जनजीवन अस्त-व्यस्त हो गया है। घाटी का सम्पर्क देश के अन्य भागों से कट गया है। अधिकारियों ने घाटी के ऊंचे क्षेत्रों के लिए हिमस्खलन की चेतावनी जारी की है। उन्होंने लोगो से उतराई वाले इलाकों में न जाने को कहा है। बिजली और पानी की आपूर्ति भी बाधित हुई है। बर्फबारी के कारण दूसरे दिन भी श्रीनगर-जम्मू राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग बंद रहा।

बम्बई शेयर बाजार के शुरूआती कारोबार में आज सैन्सेक्स २१ अंक की गिरावट के साथ २१ हजार ८०६ पर खुला, लेकिन बाद में इसमें सुधार हुआ और अब से कुछ देर पहले यह ४४ अंक की वृद्धि के साथ २१ हजार ८७१ पर था।

National Investigation Agency, NIA will probe yesterday's Maoist attack in Bastar region of Chhattisgarh that claimed 16 lives. This was disclosed by Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde in Jagdalpur today. He was talking to reporters after paying homage to the slain para-military and state police personnel. Mr Shinde said Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh has agreed to hand over the probe to NIA.

I have discussed with the Chief Minister. The previous ambush in which senior political leaders were killed, was given to the National Investigation Agency to probe. This case will also be given to the NIA.

Mr Shinde said, the martyrdom of these security personnel will not go waste and security forces will fight back. Our correspondent has filed this report:

A meeting of Full Election Commission is underway in Guwahati to review preparations for Lok Sabha polls in Assam. Chief Election Commissioner VS Sampath and Election Commissioners HS Brahma and Nasim Ahmed Zaidi already met representatives of national and state political parties. The full Election Commission will also hold discussions with all Deputy Commissioners and Superintendents of Police and other top officials separately. Issues like deployment of security forces, co-ordination with neighboring states and voters’ awareness are likely to figure in the meetings. Polling for 14 Lok Sabha seats will be held in three phases in Assam. First phase will take place on 7th of April.

The Supreme Court has asked the Law Commission to look into the issue of hate speeches being made by leaders of political, social and religious outfits and consider framing guidelines to regulate such provocative statements. A bench headed by justice BS Chauhan refused to frame the guidelines. The bench asked the commission to look into it and give its recommendation to the Centre. The court passed the order on a PIL by an NGO alleging that there is a need for guidelines as hate speeches destroy the fabric of democracy and violate the provisions of the Constitution.

The PIL had named Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh as respondents as the two states witnessed incidents of alleged hate speeches. It had referred to the alleged hate speeches made by Maharashtra Navnirman Sena Chief Raj Thackeray and claimed that no FIR was registered against him in the state.

The PIL had said that in Andhra Pradesh, the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen leader Akbaruddin Owaisi had allegedly made hate speeches and was arrested. It alleged that after being released on bail, he had again made similar speeches in Nanded, Maharashtra.

Sahara Chief Subrata Roy today moved the Supreme Court against his judicial custody. He has been lodged in Delhi's Tihar Jail for not depositing 20,000 crore rupees of investors' money with the market regulator SEBI. In a new petition filed before the apex court, Sahara Chief pleaded that the court should give an urgent hearing in the case as it pertains to Habeas Corpus. A writ of Habeas Corpus is used to bring a prisoner or other detainee before the court to determine if the person's imprisonment or detention is lawful. Appearing for Roy, senior advocate Ram Jethmalani submitted that there is some defect which needs to be cured urgently and pleaded the court to hear him at 2 PM. A bench headed by Chief Justice P Sathasivam said it will hear the case after lunch if the application filed by him gets numbered by the Registry.

The Sahara chief and his two directors Ravi Shankar Dubey and Ashok Roy Choudhary were sent to judicial custody on March 4 by a special bench for not depositing 20,000 crore rupees with SEBI.

In West Bengal, the fire which broke out at a paint factory at Nazirgunj in Howrah district this morning has been doused. Official sources said, 31 fire tenders battled for nearly 6 hours to bring the blaze under control. The extent of damage and cause of fire are yet to be ascertained.

Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal today began his 3-day election campaign in Maharashtra. After his arrival in Mumbai today, Kejriwal took an auto-rickshaw from the domestic terminal of the Mumbai airport to travel to Andheri station. He then boarded the local train from Andheri to travel to Churchgate station in South Mumbai.

Mr Kejriwal’s program also includes a private fund-raising meeting and a road show traversing the Mumbai South and Mumbai North East constituencies. Aam Aadmi Party is expecting a good show in Maharashtra in Lok Sabha polls after its success in Delhi Assembly elections.

Heavy snowfall across Kashmir paralysed normal life in the Valley today, snapping its links with the outside world. Authorities have issued a high danger avalanche warning for higher reaches of the Valley. They have asked people not to venture on steep slopes till this evening. Civil Aviation Minister Ajith Singh has stressed the need for continuing reforms and strengthening regional cooperation for the robust growth of the aviation sector in the country. Speaking after opening the 4th edition of India Aviation today, he said focus will remain on enhancing regional and remote area connectivity. Stating that the Airports Authority of India has already identified 50 places to develop low-cost airports, the minister has asked the industry to play key role in developing aviation infrastructure in those areas. The Vietnam's Frontline Command announced today that it has suspended its air search for missing Malaysian airliner's flight MH370 and scaled back a sea search as it waited for Malaysia to clarify the potential new direction of the multi-national hunt. Malaysia has expanded the hunt for the missing plane into the Andaman Sea, hundreds of kilometres to the northwest of the original search radius. But it has denied a report that the plane with 239 people on board had been detected very far from its planned flight path.
