विवरण	The girl child will be entitled to receive scholarship for each class of study successfully completed by her, ranging from Rs. 300 for class-I, and Rs. 1000 for class-X. The scheme was recast in 1999, and as per the recast scheme, the post delivery grant of Rs. 500 is given to the girl child. The amount of post delivery grant and scholarship are to be deposited in maximum interest bearing joint accounts like PPF or NSC, etc. in the name of the girl child and the designated officer with a bank branch or post office. The accumulated value of the deposits in the account will be payable to the girl child on her attaining the age of 18 years, and having remained unmarried till then.

विवरण	Swayamsidha scheme was launched in the year 2001, and was dedicated to women empowerment. It is a self-help group-based programme with emphasis on convergence activities. The objective is to ensure that SHG members avail the benefit of all schemes and services in an integrated and holistic manner. So far, the Govt. of India has released an amount of Rs. 117.38 lacs for state action plan and block specified projects.

विवरण	To provide integrated community-based non-institutional basic services for the care, protection and development of street children facing destitution, neglect, abuse and exploitation. Programme, interventions will be focused on reduction of exploitation, abuse, and withdrawal of children engaged in hazardous work. 90 percent grant will be given to the voluntary organizations, and each organisation will implement one project for 100 children.

विवरण	Street children shall mean and include the following: 1. Children who live on the streets or pavements. 2. Children who live in slums, but spend most of their time on the streets engaged in various activities. 3. Children who work in a) street trades such as rag picking, patty vending, and shoe shinning. b) manual jobs, such as coolies, helpers, cleaners, rickshaw pullers, etc., and c) employment in wayside tea stalls, restaurants, automobile garages, tyre and tube workshop, medicines shop etc.
योग्यता कसौटी	The NGOs meeting the following criteria will be eligible: a) Registered under the Society Registration Act, 1860. b) It shall have proven capability of work in the area of Child Welfare for three years. c) It shall have a capacity for reaching out to at least 100 Street Children. d) It shall be recognized, aided, or approved by at least one State Government or Union Territory Administration. e) It shall have a properly constituted managing body with its powers, duties and responsibilities clearly defined and laid down in written constitution. f) It shall not run for profit to any individual or a body of individuals.

योग्यता कसौटी	1. The person should be 18 years or above. 2. He/She should be a domicile of Haryana, and should be residing in the State for the last three years at the time of submission of the application, and his/her close relatives, such as parents, sons are not supporting him/her, and his/her income from all sources has not been exceeding the amount of minimum wages of unskilled labour as notified by the Labour Department on year to year basis, and he/she suffers from one or more of the following handicaps: 1. Total absence of sight 2. Visual acuity not exceeding 3 by 60, to 10 by 200 (sellan) in the better eye with corrective lenses 3. A loss of sense of hearing to the extent that it is not functional for the ordinary purposes of life. 4. Orthopedic handicapped with a permanent disability of 70 percent and above. 5. Mental retardation, with IQ not exceeding 50.
कैसे प्राप्त करें	The forms should be submitted to District Social Welfare offices. Forms of eligible persons are filled up every month, and sanctioned pension will be provided from the month, from which they are found eligible Application Forms should be attested by the following: 1. Village level - Panch/Sarpanch/Lamberdar/Ex-Sarpanch 2. City level - Municipal Commissioner/Ex-Municipal Commissioner/In charge Municipal Committee.

विवरण	Assistance is provided to the poor persons living below poverty line for getting specialized treatment for life threatening diseases. The State/District illness assistance funds would be established under the Societies Registration Act. The societies will be registered with the registrar, cooperative society, and will be responsible for identifying the life threatening illness, for which the assistance is to be provided to the poor. It will also be responsible for fixing a criteria for identifying the poor, to whom this assistance is to be provided, and to what extent. The society will monitor the activities of the District society funds from time to time to evaluate the successful implementation of the scheme. The scheme is essential in public interest, and will serve the rural population of the State of Haryana.
