अमरीका की विदेश मंत्री हिलेरी क्लिंटन ने कल नई दिल्ली में प्रधानमंत्री मनमोहन सिंह के साथ मुलाकात के दौरान असैन्य परमाणु ऊर्जा सहयोग, आतंकवाद, अफगानिस्तान और पाकिस्तान की स्थिति, ईरान और सुरक्षा जैसे महत्वपूर्ण मुद्दों पर बातचीत की। प्रधानमंत्री निवास पर हुई इस बैठक में श्रीमती क्लिंटन ने अपनी चीन यात्रा की जानकारी दी और बताया कि अमरीका को उम्मीद है कि भारत में खुदरा व्यापार में प्रत्यक्ष विदेशी निवेश की अनुमति मिलेगी और सरकार नये आर्थिक सुधार लागू करेगी।डॉक्टर मनमोहन सिंह और श्रीमती क्लिंटन ने ईरान की स्थिति और भारत सहित अंतर्राष्ट्रीय समुदाय के साथ ईरान के सम्पकोर्ं के सभी पहलुओं पर भी चर्चा की। इस मुलाकात के दौरान अफगानिस्तान की स्थिति और २०१४ में पश्चिमी सेनाओं की वापसी के बाद अफगानिस्तान में विकास और स्थिरता रखने के उपायों के अलावा पाकिस्तान के साथ अपने अपने संबंधों पर भी बातचीत हुई। बाद में श्रीमती क्लिंटन यूपीए अध्यक्ष सोनिया गांधी से मिली। श्रीमती हिलेरी क्लिंटन आज विदेश मंत्री एस एम कृष्णा के साथ असैन्य परमाणु ऊर्जा सहयोग, क्षेत्रीय सुरक्षा और ईरान जैसे प्रमुख मुद्दों पर चर्चा करेंगी। दोनों नेता १३ जून को वाशिंग्टन में होने वाली महत्वपूर्ण वार्ता से पहले भारत अमरीका रणनीति साझेदारी में प्रगति की भी समीक्षा करेंगे।

वित्तमंत्री प्रणब मुखर्जी ने सभी कीमती धातुओं के आभूषणों पर उत्पाद शुल्क इस वर्ष १७ मार्च से वापस लेने की घोषणा की है। कर वंचना रोधी सामान्य नियम-गार पर अमल अप्रैल २०१३ तक टालने की घोषणा की है। चालू वित्त वर्ष के बजट में प्रस्तावित इस नियम का उद्देश्य कर चोरी रोकना है। लोकसभा में कल चालू वित्त वर्ष का वित्त विधेयक बहस के लिए पेश करते हुए श्री मुखर्जी ने स्पष्ट किया कि यह फैसला कर दाताओं और कर प्रशासकों को और समय देने के लिए किया गया है।श्री मुखर्जी ने स्पष्ट किया कि अब कर वंचना सिद्ध करने की जिम्मेदारी अधिकारियों की होगी जबकि मूल प्रस्ताव में करदाता को सिद्ध करना था कि उसने कर वंचना नहीं की है।
हमने गार के कार्यान्वयन को एक वर्ष के लिए स्थगित किया है। जिससे करदाताओं और कर प्रशासन दोनों को ही अधिक समय मिल पाएगा। अब यह वित्त वर्ष २०१३-१४ और बाद के वर्षों की आय पर लागू होगा।
श्री मुखर्जी ने बताया कि सर्राफा और आभूषण बाजार में बिना हिसाब किताब का धन आने से रोकने के लिए वित्त विधेयक में प्रस्ताव किया गया था कि दो लाख रूपये से अधिक मूल्य के आभूषणों की नकद खरीद पर आभूषण व्यापारी खरीददार से एक प्रतिशत की दर से कर लेंगे। लेकिन आभूषण उद्योग के प्रतिनिधियों की मांग पर अब यह सीमा पांच लाख रूपये कर दी गई है।
वित्त मंत्री ने सम्पत्ति की बिक्री पर स्रोत पर कर कटौती का प्रावधान भी समाप्त करने की घोषणा की है। बजट में प्रस्ताव किया गया था कि कृषि भूमि को छोड़कर शहरी क्षेत्रों में पचास लाख रुपए से अधिक और अन्य क्षेत्रों में बीस लाख रुपए से अधिक की अचल सम्पत्ति के लेन देन पर स्रोत पर एक प्रतिशत कर की कटौती की जाए।

सरकार ने देश में १५ सौ नये औद्योगिक प्रशिक्षण संस्थान और पांच हजार कौशल विकास केन्द्र खोलने का फैसला किया है। सरकारी और निजी भागीदारी में यह केन्द्र उन विकास खंडों में खोले जाएंगे जहां अभी इस तरह की सुविधा नहीं है। लोकसभा में कल एक प्रश्न के लिखित उत्तर में केन्द्रीय श्रम और रोजगार मंत्री मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे ने यह भी बताया कि केन्द्र प्रायोजित योजना के अंतर्गत वामपंथी उग्रवाद से प्रभावित ३४ जिलों में ३४ आई टीआई और ६८ कौशल विकास केन्द्र खोलने का भी प्रावधान है। लेकिन पिछले तीन वर्ष के दौरान देश में एक सौ सैंतालिस सरकारी आई टी आई और दो हजार तीन सौ ९९ निजी आई टी आई खोले गए हैं।-------
उच्चतम न्यायालय द्वारा नियुक्त न्याय मित्र ने अपनी रिपोर्ट में कहा है कि २००२ के गुजरात दंगों के सिलसिले में राज्य के मुख्यमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी पर भारतीय दंड संहिता की विभिन्न धाराओं के तहत मुकदमा चलाया जा सकता है। यह रिपोर्ट जाकिया जाफरी की शिकायत पर राजू रामचन्द्रन ने तैयार की है। एस.आई.टी. ने अपनी रिपोर्ट में निलम्बित आई पी एस अधिकारी संजीव भट्ट के इस आरोप को रद्द कर दिया था कि श्री मोदी ने गोधरा ट्रेन अग्नि कांड के मद्देनजर २७ फरवरी २००२ को बहुसंख्यक समुदाय को अल्पसंख्यकों को सबक सिखाने के लिए निर्देश दिया था। अहमदाबाद के मेट्रोपोलिटन मजिस्ट्रेट की अदालत में एस आई टी ने शिकायतकर्ता श्रीमती जाफरी को एस आई टी रिपोर्ट और उच्चतम न्यायालय द्वारा नियुक्त न्यायमित्र की रिपोर्ट सौंपी।

उच्चतम न्यायालय ने देश में प्लास्टिक की थैलियों के इस्तेमाल पर पूरी तरह रोक लगाने संबंधी याचिका पर केन्द्र और राज्य सरकारों को नोटिस जारी किए हैं। न्यायमूर्ति जी. एस. सिंघवी की अध्यक्षता वाली पीठ ने प्लास्टिक बनाने वाली सभी कंपनियों को भी इस मामले में पक्षकार बनाया है। न्यायालय ने इस्तेमाल में लाई जा चुकी प्लास्टिक की थैलियों के निपटान के लिए उचित तन्त्र विकसित करने पर सरकार से जवाब मांगा है। उच्चतम न्यायालय ने यह आदेश स्वयंसेवी संगठनों की याचिका पर दिया है। याचिका में सरकार को प्लास्टिक की थैलियों के इस्तेमाल पर पूरी तरह रोक लगाने का निर्देश देने का अनुरोध किया था।-------
लोकसभा में भारतीय चिकित्सा परिषद संशोधन विधेयक २०१२ को मंजूरी दे दी है। इसमें भारतीय चिकित्सा परिषद के संचालन बोर्ड का कार्यकाल १४ मई से एक वर्ष और बढ़ाया गया है। पहले बोर्ड का कार्यकाल दो वर्ष का था। स्वास्थ्य मंत्री गुलाम नबी आजाद ने यह बिल पेश किया। सदन में मौजूद अधिकांश सदस्यों ने इसका समर्थन किया।-------
भारतीय जनता पार्टी की राजस्थान इकाई के नेतृत्व के मसले पर विवाद बरकरार है। पार्टी की प्रदेश इकाई के अध्यक्ष डॉ. अरूण चतुर्वेदी ने कहा कि उन्हें किसी भी विधायक का इस्तीफा नहीं मिला है और ये गतिविधियां पार्टी के लिए दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण हैं। पिछले दो दिनों में श्रीमती राजे के समर्थन में दो सांसद और ६१ विधायकों ने इस्तीफे दिए हैं।कल राजस्थान भाजपा के वरिष्ठ नेता श्री ललित किशोर चतुर्वेदी, श्री घनश्याम तिवारी, श्री रामदास अग्रवाल, श्री गुलाम चन्द कटारिया और प्रदेश भारतीय जनता पार्टी अध्यक्ष डॉ. अरुण चतुर्वेदी के बीच हुई बैठक ने स्पष्ट कर दिया कि श्रीमती वसुंधरा राजे के समर्थन में चल रहा इस्तीफों का दौर पार्टी को स्वीकार्य नहीं होगा। श्री ललित किशोर चतुर्वेदी ने इस्तीफा देने वाले विधायकों के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई की मांग की और कहा कि कोई नेता पार्टी से बड़ा नहीं होता। श्रीमती वसुन्धरा राजे ने भी अपने समर्थकों से इस्तीफे देने की प्रक्रिया रोकने को कहा और दोहराया कि यह भाजपा का अंदरूनी मामला है, जिसे पार्टी के भीतर ही सुलझा लिया जाएगा। अनुराग वाजपेयी, आकाशवाणी समाचार, जयपुर।

The two leaders discussed civil nuclear cooperation, terrorism, the situation in Afghanistan and Pakistan, Iran and security among other things. Mrs Clinton also briefed Dr Singh on her recent visit to China. The US Secretary of State also conveyed her country's expectations on the opening of FDI in the retail sector as well as a new set of economic reforms by the Indian government.Besides both sides also talked about Iran and all aspects of Tehran's engagement with the international community including India. Dr Singh and Mrs Clinton also talked about the situation in Afghanistan and the ways to sustain development and stability in the war-torn country after the withdrawal of Western troops by 2014. The two sides also talked about their respective ties with Pakistan.Later, Mrs Clinton also met UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi. Mrs Clinton will meet External Affairs Minister SM Krishna today. Civil nuclear cooperation, regional security and Iran are among the key issues that the US Secretary of State is expected to discuss with Mr. Krishna. The two leaders will also review the progress made in the Indo-US strategic partnership ahead of the strategic dialogue between the two countries to be held in Washington on the 13th of next month.<><><>Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee has announced deferment of implementation of the budget proposal of the General Anti-Avoidance Rules or GAAR till April 2013. He said this during his opening remarks on the discussion of Finance Bill 2012 in the Lok Sabha yesterday. Mr. Mukherjee also clarified that the government will remove a provision which puts the onus on the tax payer to prove that there has been no tax avoidance. He said, now the onus would be on the tax officials."To provide more time to both taxpayers and tax administration to address all related issues, I propose to defer the applicability of GAAR provisions by one year. The GAAR provisions will now apply to income of Financial Year 2013-14."The Finance Minister also announced a roll back of excise levy on all branded and unbranded jewellery with effect from the 17th of March this year. He said, the imposition of Central Excise duty at the rate of one per cent had attracted public attention. Mr. Mukherjee said, the levy was well intentioned and introduced not so much for raising revenue as for rationalizing the movement towards the Goods and Services Tax.The Finance Minister said the government has also removed the tax deducted at source on sale of property. It had proposed one per cent tax deducted at source, TDS, on transfer of immovable property other than agriculture land, if the sale value exceeded 50 lakh rupees in urban Centres and
20 lakh rupees in other areas.<><><>The Government has decided to set up 1,500 new Industrial Training Institutes, ITIs and 5,000 Skill Development Centres in the Public Private Partnership mode in the un-serviced blocks of the country. In a written reply to the Lok Sabha yesterday, Labour and Employment Minister Mallikarjun Kharge also said that there is a provision to set up 34 ITIs and 68 Skill Development Centres in the 34 districts affected by Left wing extremism under a centrally sponsored scheme. During the last 3 years, a 147 new government ITIs and 2,399 new private ITIs have been established in the country.<><><>In a set back to Chief Minister Narendra Modi, a Supreme Court-appointed Amicus Curiae has held that he can be prosecuted under various sections of the IPC for promoting enmity among different groups during the 2002 Gujarat riots. A bench headed by Justice G S Singhvi impleaded all the plastic manufacturing companies in the case and also sought the government's response to put in place a proper mechanism for disposal of used plastic bags. The apex court passed the order on a PIL filed by NGOs, seeking its direction to the government to ban the use of plastic bags alleging that these are not disposed off properly and are eaten by animals and get stuck in their stomachs.<><><>The Lok Sabha has passed the Indian Medical Council Amendment Bill-2012. It seeks to extend the tenure of the Board of Governors of the Medical Council of India by one more year beyond the 14th of May this year. Earlier, the tenure of the Board was two years. -----लोकसभा ने वित्तवर्ष- २०१२-१३ के लिए केन्द्र सरकार के वित्तीय प्रस्तावों से सम्बन्धित,ं वित्त विधेयक पास कर दिया है। सरकार, संसद के मौजूदा सत्र में कालेधन पर श्वेतपत्र लाएगी। वित्तमंत्री प्रणब मुखर्जी ने आज लोकसभा में वित्त विधेयक पर बहस का जवाब देते हुए यह जानकारी दी। उन्होंने कहा कि श्वेत पत्र को अंतिम रूप दिया जा रहा है। उन्होंने बताया कि जिन लोगों के पास कालाधन है, जांच के बाद उन पर मुकदमा शुरु किये जाने के बाद उनके नामों का खुलासा कर दिया जाएगा। श्री मुखर्जी ने बताया कि विदेशों में बैंकों में जमा, भारतीयों के काले धन के अनुमान के बारे में रिर्पोटों का इंतजार किया जा रहा है। तीन स्वतंत्र दल इन्हें तैयार कर रहे हैं। ये रिर्पोटे इस साल जुलाई या अगस्त में आने की उम्मीद है। श्री मुखर्जी ने कहा कि आतंरिक और बाहरी दबाव के बावजूद, देश की अर्थव्यवस्था सही रास्ते पर आगे बढ़ रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि आर्थिक विकास दर फिर से तेज करने के लिए वित्तीय मजबूती जरुरी है और सरकार इसके लिए प्रतिबद्ध है।
वित्तमंत्री ने वित्तीय घाटा अधिक होने पर चिंता व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि स्थिति से निपटने के लिए प्रभावी उपाय करने की जरूरत है।
-----इस साल देश में नौ सौ दो लाख टन से अधिक गेहूं की पैदावार होने की संभावना है। चालू खरीफ मौसम में एक हजार चौंतीस लाख टन से अधिक चावल की पैदावार हो सकती है। खाद्य और सार्वजनिक वितरण मंत्री के वी थामस ने ये आंकड़े आज लोकसभा में कृषि मंत्रालय के अग्रिम अनुमान के हवाले से बताए।
-----सरकार ने सूखे की स्थिति में राहत उपलब्ध कराने के लिए दो हजार पंद्रह तक मानको में किसी प्रकार के बदलाव से इंकार किया है। राज्यसभा में कृषि राज्य मंत्री हरीश रावत ने सूखे के लिए मुआवजा बढ़ाने की सदस्यों की मांग भी नामंजूर कर दी। कर्नाटक में सूखे की स्थिति के बारे में सदन में ध्यानाकर्षण प्रस्ताव का जवाब देते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि ये मानक १३वें वित्त आयोग की सिफारिशों के आधार पर मानक समिति ने निर्धारित किये थे। श्री रावत ने बताया कि केन्द्रीय दल पांच महीनों में दूसरी बार राज्य का दौरा करेगा।
इससे पहले, भारतीय जनता पार्टी के वैंकेया नायडु ने चर्चा शुरू करते हुए कहा कि समूचा कर्नाटक राज्य भीषण सूखे की चपेट में है, लेकिन केन्द्र का रवैया इस समस्या के प्रति ढुलमुल रहा है।
-----राज्यसभा ने मोटर वाहन संशोधन विधेयक २००७ पास कर दिया। यह मोटर वाहन अधिनियम १९८८ में संशोधन के बारे में है। सड़क परिवहन और राजमार्ग मंत्री सी पी जोशी ने इसे पेश करते हुए कहा कि स्थायी समिति की कुछ सिफारिशें इसमें शामिल की गई हैं और राज्यों से सुंदर समिति के बारे में टिप्पणियां प्राप्त करने के बाद एक व्यापक विधेयक लाया जाएगा।
-----सरकार ने कहा है कि उसने वोडाफोन पर ग्यारह सौ करोड़ रूपये के कर बकाया जैसे मामलों को फिर से खोलने के लिए आयकर विभाग को निर्देश नहीं दिये हैं। राज्यसभा में एक लिखित उत्तर में वित्त राज्यमंत्री एस एस पलानीमणिक्कम ने कहा कि सरकार ने इस बारे में कोई भी निर्देश जारी नहीं किया है। उन्होंने कहा कि वित्त विधेयक में स्पष्टीकरण संबंधी संशोधनों का विदेशों से निवेश पर प्रतिकूल असर नहीं पड़ेगा।
-----वित्त मंत्री प्रणब मुखर्जी ने कहा है कि भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक, महाराष्ट्र स्टेट कोओपरेटिव बैंक में वित्तीय अनियमितताओं की खबरों की और जांच कराने पर फैसला कर सकता है। श्री मुखर्जी ने राज्यसभा में कहा कि यह बैंक पहले से ही रिजर्व बैंक के निर्देशों के अंतर्गत है और इस मामले में कोई भी और जांच का फैसला रिजर्व बैंक सभी तथ्यों और परिस्थितियों पर विचार करने के बाद कर सकता है।
-----देश में ८१ प्रतिशत से अधिक ग्रामीण आबादी वाले क्षेत्र मे स्वच्छ पेय जल पहुंच चुका है। यह जानकारी ग्रामीण विकास मंत्री जयराम रमेश ने राज्यसभा में एक लिखित प्रश्न के उत्तर में दी। उन्होंने बताया कि राष्ट्रीय ग्रामीण पेय जल कार्यक्रम के दिशा निर्देशों के अनुसार प्रत्येक व्यक्ति को तकरीबन ४० लीटर स्वच्छ पेय जल मिलना चाहिए।

-----रक्षामंत्री ए के एंटनी ने कहा है कि पाकिस्तान के साथ जून के दूसरे हफ्ते में सियाचिन मुद्दे पर बातचीत की जायेगी। लेकिन उन्होंने कहा कि किसी नाटकीय परिणाम की उम्मीद नहीं की जानी चाहिये। आज राज्यसभा में रक्षा मंत्रालय के कामकाज पर बहस का जवाब देते हुए श्री एंटनी ने कहा कि सियाचिन के बारे में हमारे रूख में कोई परिवर्तन नहीं हुआ है । उन्होंने कहा कि विपक्ष को देश की रक्षा तैयारी में सुधार के लिए उपयोगी सुझाव देने चाहिए।
रक्षा मंत्री ने सदन को आश्वासन दिया कि सदस्यों के सुझावों को पूरी गंभीरता से लिया जायेगा और समुचित सुधार किये जायेंगे। श्री एंटनी ने कहा कि सरकार सशस्त्र बलों को अत्याधुनिक हथियार और गोला बारूद उपलब्ध कराने के लिए वचनबद्ध है। यह स्वीकार करते हुए कि हमारा पड़ौस बहुत ही अशांत और खतरे वाला है,श्री एंटनी ने चीन और पाकिस्तान के बीच बढ़ती सांठगांठ पर चिंता व्यक्त की। उन्होंने कहा कि सुरक्षाबलों को किसी भी नई चुनौती का सामना करने के लिए पूरी तरह तैयार रहने का निर्देश दिया गया है।
इससे पहले सदन में विपक्ष के नेता अरूण जेटली ने कहा कि रक्षा तैयारी आज की चुनौतियों के अनुरूप होनी चाहिये।
-----ओडिशा में माओवादियों ने अगवा किये गए पुलिस अधिकारी की हत्या कर दी है। धर्मबांदा पुलिस चौकी के सहायक उपनिरीक्षक कृपाराम मांझी का गोलियों से छलनी शव नौपाड़ा जिला मुख्यालय से लगभग २५ किलोमीटर दूर भरूआमुंडा के जंगलों में मिला है। माओवादियों ने नौपाड़ा जिलो के बुधास गांव के पास श्री मांझी का अपहरण कर लिया था, उस समय वे ओडिशा-छत्तीसगढ़ सीमा के पास सी आर पी एफ के शिविर की ओर जा रहे थे।
संदेह है कि सीपीआई -माओवादी के मैनीपुर डिविजन में इस हत्या को अंजाम दिया गया। खबरों के अनुसार पिछले तीन दिन से इस इलाके में व्यापक तलाशी अभियान के बाद ओडिशा-छत्तीसगढ़ सीमा क्षेत्र के माओवादी भारी दबाव में थे और उन्होंने इसे रोकने के लिए दबाव बनाने के उद्देश्य से इस घटना को अंजाम दिया।
-----नागर विमानन मंत्री अजीत सिंह ने कहा है कि एयर इंडिया के पायलटों की हड़ताल गैर कानूनी है। आज नई दिल्ली में संवाददताओं से बातचीत में उन्होंने कहा कि एयरलाइंस का प्रबन्धन हड़ताली पायलटों के खिलाफ उचित कार्रवाई करेगा। उन्होंने कि एयर इंडिया प्रबन्धन के साथ बातचीत के बीच ही पायलट बीमारी बताकर काम पर नहीं आये। उन्होंने कहा कि हड़ताल के कारण कई उड़ानें रद्द करनी पड़ी हैं। श्री सिंह ने कहा कि पायलटों को सभी मुद्दों के समाधान के लिए बातचीत के वास्ते आगे आना चाहिए।
इस समय जबकि एयरइंडिया की हालत खराब है। सरकार जनता का इतना पैसा दे रही है। इतना लोस करना, पेसेंजर को तकलीफ देना, मेरा मानना है उचित नहीं है। मैं तो उनसे यही कहूंगा अगर आपकी कोई ग्रिवेन्स है और हर सेक्शन की होती है ग्रिवेन्स कोई नई बात नहीं है, तो उस बात को जारी रखिए, लेकिन इस तरह का, स्ट्राइक भी इललिगल है।
इस बीच, एयर इंडिया के प्रवक्ता ने बताया कि आज उड़ानें सामान्य हो गई हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि एयरलाइन ने हड़ताल को गैर कानूनी घोषित कर दिया है और इंडियन पायलट्स गिल्ड की मान्यता रद्द कर दी है। प्रवक्ता ने बताया कि दस पायलटों को निलम्बित कर दिया गया है। उन्होंने बताया कि बीमारी के कारण छुट्टी लेने वाले पायलटों के घरों में चिकित्सा दल भेजे गए हैं।
-----भारत और सिंगापुर ने दोनों देशों के बीच बढ़ते निवेश सहित आपसी संबंधों पर संतोष व्यक्त किया है। नई दिल्ली में आपसी सहयोग के बारे में भारत-सिंगापुर संयुक्त मंत्री स्तरीय समिति की दूसरी बैठक के बाद जारी एक वक्तव्य में विदेश मंत्री एस एम कृष्णा ने कहा है कि दोनों देशों के बीच संबंध व्यापक और बहुआयामी हैं। इस बैठक की सह-अध्यक्षता सिंगापुर के विदेश मंत्री के० शणमुगम ने की। संयुक्त समिति ने विज्ञान और टेक्नोलोजी , शिक्षा, कौशल विकास, प्रशिक्षण और संस्कृति सहित कई क्षेत्रों में सहयोग पर भी विचार विमर्श किया।
-----सरकार ने कहा है कि सेट टॉप बाक्स की क्वालिटी सुधारने और केबल टी वी उपभोक्ताओं की शिकायतें को दूर करने के लिए टेलीविजन नेटवर्क संशोधन नियम -२०१२ आवश्यक व्यवस्था की गयी है। इन नियमों के अनुसार मल्टी सिस्टम आपरेटरों द्वारा उपलब्ध कराये जाने वाले सेट टॉप बाक्स , भारतीय दूरसंचार नियमन प्राधिकरण -ट्राई द्वारा निर्धारित मानकों के अनुरूप होने चाहिए। इन आपरेटरों को ट्राई द्वारा निर्धारित शिकायत निवारण तंत्र भी स्थापित करना होगा और उपभोक्ताओं को इसकी पूरी जानकारी देनी होगी।
-----सरकार ने इन खबरों का खंडन किया है कि तत्कालीन वित्तमंत्री पी. चिदम्बरम ने दो हजार छह में एयरसेल-मैक्सिस सौदे को विदेशी निवेश संवर्धन बोर्ड की मंजूरी में देरी की थी। एक विज्ञप्ति में कहा गया है कि ऐसी खबरें पूरी तरह निराधार है। सरकार ने यह भी कहा है कि इस सौदे को सामान्य तरीके से और बिना किसी देरी के मंजूरी दे दी गई थी। विज्ञप्ति में कहा गया है कि यह बहुत दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण है कि तथ्यों की पुष्टि किए बिना इस तरह के आधारहीन आरोप लगाये जा रहे हैं।

<><><>The Lok Sabha today passed the Finance Bill, giving effect to the financial proposals of the Central government for the fiscal 2012-13. The government will bring a white paper on black money in the current session of Parliament. Mr. Pranab Mukherjee disclosed this while replying to a debate on the Finance Bill in the Lok Sabha today. The Finance Minister said, the white paper is in the final stages of drafting.The names of those having black money, will be disclosed once the prosecution against them begins after scrutiny. Mr. Mukherjee said, the government is awaiting the reports about the estimates of black money stashed abroad. These reports are being prepared by three independent groups. The reports are expected in July or August this year.Mr. Mukherjee reiterated that the national economy is on the right path of growth despite internal and external constraints. He said, fiscal consolidation is the key to bring back the economy on high trajectory of growth to which the government is committed.Finance Minister said that the implementation of Direct Tax Code, DTC, and Goods and Services Tax, GST will help the country in achieving major tax reforms.Leader of the Opposition, Sushma Swaraj complimented the Finance Minister for withdrawing taxes on branded and unbranded jewellery in keeping with the sentiments of jewellers across the country.<><><>The CPI(M) today opposed the Finance Minister Pranab Mukharjee’s announcement in Parliament about deferring the implementation of the General Anti-Avoidance Rules, GAAR by one year and diluting many of its provisions. The bullet riddled body of Assistant Sub Inspector, ASI of Police, Kruparam Majhi of Dharambandha police outpost was found in the forest areas of Bharuamunda, about 25 kilometres from Nuapada district headquarters. His hands and legs were tied before he was shot by the Maoists. The police ASI was kidnapped by a group of armed Maoists near Budhas village in Nuapada district when he was on his way to a CRPF camp near Sunabeda Wildlife Sanctuary on the Odisha-Chhatisgarh border with a water tank.It is suspected that the Mainepur division of CPI (Maoists) have carried out this brutal act. According to reports, the Maoists camping along the Odisha-Chhattisgarh border were under great pressure following intensive combing operations in the area over the past three days and may have resorted to this to ensure all such operations come to a halt.<><><>Government today dismissed the news reports that the then Finance Minister, P Chidambaram had delayed clearance by Foreign Investment Promotion Board to Aircel-Maxis deal in 2006. The government has reiterated its statement in the wake of a news report which claimed that the last month statement regarding this was far from truth.<><><>The government today said that necessary provisions have been incorporated in the Cable Television Networks (Amendment) Rules, 2012 to take care of the quality of Set Top Boxes, STBs and the redressal of grievances of the cable TV subscribers. According to an official release, as per these Rules, the STBs to be supplied by the Multi System Operators, must conform to the quality standards specified by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, TRAI.The Cable Television Networks (Regulation) Amendment Act, 2011 has made it mandatory for switch-over of the existing analogue Cable TV networks to Digital Addressable System by December 2014, in a phased manner.<><><>Samajwadi Party MPs from the Rajya Sabha today met Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh to seek Central assistance worth around one lakh crore rupees for the development of Uttar Pradesh. The spokesperson told AIR that medical teams were sent to the houses of pilots who have sought sick leave. Speaking to reporters in New Delhi, the Civil Aviation Minister Ajit Singh today said that management of the national carrier would take appropriate action against those involved in the stir. Mr Singh also said, the pilots went on sick leave amid talks with the management of Air India. He said that the strike has led to the cancellation of flights.I think, so much loss, bothering the passengers is not good. I would like to say if they have any grievances, they can continued the talks. The strike is illegal and the High Court has given stay on their main issue that old Indian Airlines pilots should not be trained but the Supreme court has vacated it. Under the programme, the Ministry of Environment and Forests had proposed to import the African large-sized feline to India. A forest bench comprising Justices K S Radhakrishan and C K Prasad restrained the government from going ahead with the 300 crore rupees project.Asiatic Cheetah became extinct in the country in the 1950's.
