Deposit Schemes

It has been decided by the Bank to revise the interest rate structure for Domestic Term Deposits for both below Rs.1.00 crore and for Rs.1 cr to less than Rs. 5 cr with effect from 18.02.2011. The revised interest rates are as under :-

     *   Revised Rate of Interest for 300 days is 8.00%.
     ** Revised Rate of Interest for 400 days is 8.50%.
     ** Rate of Interest for 450 days is 9.25% (w.e.f 10.3.2011).
     ** Revised Rate of Interest for 500 days is 8.30%.   

1. For domestic term deposits of Rs. 5 crores and above, interest rates will be decided by Head Office on daily basis. Branches/Zonal Offices will quote rates for term deposits of Rs. 5 crore and above only after prior permission from General Manager (IRM), Head Office.
2. The above rates will be applicable for fresh deposits and renewal of deposits and are subject to revision at any time.
3. The interest rate for the revised AllBank Baalika Mangal Yojana Deposit Scheme will remain 8.56574 % p.a with quarterly rests.
4. The rate of interest on Allahabad Bank Tax Benefit Term Deposit Scheme will be at the interest rate applicable for 5 years i.e.8.00% p.a.
5. Additional rate of 0.50% for senior citizen is applicable.
