| विवरण | Under the scheme, children belonging to Scheduled Castes studying in 9th to 12th classes are given monthly stipend of Rs.40 per student, provided their parents or guardians are not income tax payers. No tuition fee is charged from them in Govt. institutions. The privately recognized institutions/schools are reimbursed in this behalf by the Government. Examination fee, charged from the students by the University/Board is also refunded for those between 9th to 12th classes. An amount of Rs. 547.00 lakhs has been sanctioned during the Year 2005-2006, under plan schemes, and 72,000 students will be benefited by them. |
