WALK-IN-INTERVIEW
To assist in the externally funded projects as well as Network Projects undertaken by the Institute, engagement of Indian Nationals in the
following temporary positions, co-terminus with the expiry of the project, is required to be made through Walk-in-Interview.

Age Limit : Age will be reckon on the date of interview which is relaxable upto 5 years for SC / ST candidate, 3 years for OBC
candidates and Women / PH as per GoI rules.
General Conditions : The position of Project Assistant is for a specific duration for the externally funded projects an the Network
Projects and will be co-terminus with the expiry of the project and will not confer any right, explicitly or implicitly, for regular
absorption in the Institute / CSIR or in the sponsoring organization. The award of project assistantship does not imply any
assurance or guarantee for subsequent employment by CSIR or at CBRI, Roorkee. No TA will be paid for appearing in the
interview. Director, CBRI reserves the right not to fill-up these positions or any one amongst them, if he so decides. The
requirement of the positions are variable. A candidate who claims to belong to OBC has to submit in support of his/her claim an
attested copy of a certificate for current year in the prescribed form issued for the Central Govt. to the effect that he / she does not
belong to the persons / sections (Creamy Layer). A panel of selected candidates will be made by the Selection Committee in the
respective discipline for the future requirement(s).
Procedure of Selection : The interested candidates may appear for walk-in-interview before the Selection Committee at CBRI,
Roorkee on the date and time as mentioned above along with original documents and six copies of bio-data (One copy of bio-data
duly affixed with a latest passport size photograph and supported by self-attested photocopies of certificates, mark sheets and other
relevant documents) giving following information on one side of A-4 size paper. Candidates reaching the venue after Scheduled
time for registration will not be allowed to appear before the Selection Committee for interview.
